How Can I Help?

To assist the 2,000 families expected to come for Hope for Christmas 2011 it will take approximately:

• 32,000 canned and boxed food items
• 2,000 turkeys
• 18,000 toys
• 6,000 gifts for the Secret Santa Shop

This is insurmountable for any one person or organization to provide on their own. We need everyone's help! Please review the list below and see how you, your family or your business may be able to play a part in meeting this tremendous need. If you would like to sign your business up as a collection point for toys or food, then please contact us.

Non-perishable Food

For each family bag we need 2 cans each of green beans, corn, gravy, and yams; cranberry sauce; 2 boxes or bags of stuffing, cornbread mix, and macaroni & cheese; and brownie or cookie mix.

If you are unable to go to the store and purchase these items then you can choose to sponsor a food bag for a family. For a donation of $20 we will fill a food bag on your behalf. Click on the PayPal link at the bottom of this page. When making your payment via PayPal feel free to indicate this is for Hope for Christmas food. You may even want to give $40, $60, or more to sponsor several families!

Secret Santa Shop Gift Items

We need new, unwrapped items for kids to shop for free gifts for their parents and grandparents. We need presents for both men and women.
Suggested items for men include tools, fragrances, snack sets, gift cards, gloves, and wallets.
Suggested items for women include fragrances, teas & coffees, bath & body supplies, decorative Items, specialty socks, stationary, and scarf & glove sets.

Toys for Birth - High School

We need new, unwrapped toys for boys and girls of all ages. Some suggestions by age and sex include:

Boys

• 0-1 Pacifiers, blankets, soft toys
• 2-4 Puzzles, soft cars and trucks, learning toys
• 5-7 Trios Lego's, Stomp Rockets, Nerf guns, Hot Wheels, Bakugan
• 8-11 Lego's, Nerf balls, Vortex, games, model sets
• 12-15 Baseball gloves/ball/bats, soccer balls, gift cards, movies, games
• 16-18 Footballs, hoodies, gift cards, electronic dartboards, movies, wallets

Girls

• 0-1 Pacifiers, blankets, soft toys
• 2-4 Puzzles, dolls, Barbie dolls, princess stuff, crafts, dress-up clothes
• 5-7 Crafts, Zhu Zhu pets, dress-up clothes, games
• 8-11 "Make it yourself" spa kits, bracelets kits, jewelry, starter makeup kits
• 12-15 Diaries, makeup, jewelry, pillows, cute room accessories, picture frames, slippers
• 16-18 Jewelry, makeup, pillows, room accessories, movies, bath & body sets, picture frames, purses/wallets, slippers

Gift card ideas for both boys and girls include pizza, I-tunes, bowling and skating.

Drop Off Location

Food, toy, and Secret Santa donations can be dropped off on Sundays between 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at any of the four locations below:

You can also drop donations off at Bethany, Cartersville, or the East Paulding sites Monday-Thursday between 9:00am and 5:00pm or at any of the partner organizations.
